The Raven and Phoenix rising

There is a lot of subtle symbolism in this piece, as the character in the center is my own OC, Raven the Antithesis to my other OC Rose Maiden.

There is a long untold history here, that only a few know, however I will be retelling that story soon, this is the art that accompanies it.

This is by far the most symbolic and background heavy piece I have done in a long long time. I am proud of the effort and my new found ability to apparently draw skulls and birds. :/

I hope others enjoy this piece as well.
